out of my window in Kampot
Kampot, Cambodia.
This small town in south-east Cambodia is a very pleasant mix of old colonial buildings.
Some of them, having been renovated, host boutique hotels, B&Bs, cafes, shops and restaurants, adding new tones to the special, suspended atmosphere in town.
Pictures taken at:
Kampot's area and the near town of Kep are best described in Dustin's piece here:

out of my window in London
Brick Lane, London, UK.
Known as the best place in town to eat curry, Brick Lane hosts a market on Sundays, which I find a nice alternative to nowadays pretty mainstream Candem market.
Metro: White Chapel or Liverpool Street. Brick Lane sits right in between.
For a delicious Indian curry, try Sheraz:

out of my window in Pisa
Pisa, Italy. View from the Tower.
My brother lived in Tuscany, about an hour far from Pisa.
I had never been up on the Tower before even though it's something every kid does in Italy on school trips. I am glad I enjoyed it as a grown up.
Tip: try not to drink alcohol before climbing up the tower..

out of my window in Atrani
Atrani, Amalfi Coast, Italy.
Every year on August 25th a festival takes place to celebrate the blue fish.
At midnight all lights in town are turned off and fireworks are set on the water.
This was partly the show as I could see it from my window.

out of my window in Rio de Janeiro
Courtesy of Rosario Buonocore. Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.
Santa Teresa is a nice, residential area up on a hill just above busy Lapa. The picture was taken from the balcony on the morning we arrived after a 6 hours bus trip from Sao Paulo and a not very comfortable taxi ride.
6:30 a.m.. Time for a deserved sunrise.

Kelso, Scotland.

Mark and me were invited to his friends Jan and Danny's wedding.
We stayed in an old Victorian house at a B&B owned by Mr. David Corry. His hospitality and the Scottish breakfast he made for us every morning were great.

P.s. The B&B is closed now and the house went on sale unfortunately.
Consider Kelso for a quick stop in the heart of beautiful Scottish countryside, on the way to Edimburgh driving north from the Scottish Borders.

With Manuela.
We thought it was cool the contrast of the stones and the blue sky. However in the first pic we took there's an air conditioner showing up from the building in the back, well hidden in this one.
Barcelona, Spain.
Out the windows of a vegetarian food house.
