out of my window in London

Brick Lane, London, UK.

Known as the best place in town to eat curry, Brick Lane hosts a market on Sundays, which I find a nice alternative to nowadays pretty mainstream Candem market.

Metro: White Chapel or Liverpool Street. Brick Lane sits right in between.

For a delicious Indian curry, try Sheraz:

out of my window in Kelso

Kelso, Scotland.

Mark and me were invited to his friends Jan and Danny's wedding.
We stayed in an old Victorian house at a B&B owned by Mr. David Corry. His hospitality and the Scottish breakfast he made for us every morning were great.

P.s. The B&B is closed now and the house went on sale unfortunately.

Consider Kelso for a quick stop in the heart of beautiful Scottish countryside, on the way to Edimburgh driving north from the Scottish Borders.
